Booth exhibition at “Speciality & Fine Food Fair” in London

Japan Rice and Rice Industry Export Promotion Association (JRE) will participate in the UK’s leading showcase of foods and drinks, “Specialty & Fine Food Fair”, in London to promote Japanese rice, sake and rice confections in Europe. There will be a display and seminar about rice produced in Japan and other rice products.

Prior to this event—on Thursday, September 1st—“Umami Seminar” organized by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will be held at the Icetank Studio in London. Two successful chefs based in London will share their recipes on highlighting “umami” in the ingredients by demonstrations. (Please register through the JETRO website below).

[Brief biography] He has worked internationally as a judge for the category of Japanese sake at the International Wine Challenge.
In 2015, he conducted a seminar on Japanese sake at “PRESENTING JAPAN.”
Japanese sake is not only for the Japanese cuisine, and he is able to match Japanese sake with other dishes around the world.
