Elimination of Japanese Food Import Restrictions by the Democratic Republic of the Congo

【Notice from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries】

Following the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, the Democratic Republic of the Congo has required a radioactive substance inspection certificate for all foods and agricultural products exported from Japan, but this is to inform you that the Japanese government has received notice from the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo that these restrictions have been lifted as of June 7.

The regulations of other countries, including those with eased regulations, are posted on the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries website.
